Meet the roles
We're still collecting the worst things that have ever happened to you. Send yours.
Send us a card ideaFive cards each. The rest go face down in the middle. Then you start asking for things you'd never say out loud sober.
Pick a player and name one exact card that would pair with one in your hand. "Got Toilet Seat Pubes?"
If they've got it and give it up, you keep the pair and they drink one. If they say they don't have it, that might be true. It might not.
Fold: take their word for it. Drink one, draw one, move on.
Double Down: make them show. If they lied, they drink two and hand over the card. If they were honest, you drink two and draw.
When the draw pile's gone, most pairs wins. Unless your hidden role says otherwise.
You may only lie when denying you hold a card. Once someone Doubles Down, the truth comes out.
Twenty-five of them, short, specific and deeply upsetting. The colour tells you which kind of upsetting.

Deal one face down to each player. Keep it secret until the moment it ruins someone's night.
Hover or tap a card to reveal it.
Once per game, sneak a peek at another player's cards.
Anyone who wrongly Doubles Down on you drinks four fingers.
You only drink half penalties, but need two extra pairs to win.
If you're correctly accused, everyone drinks with you.
Once per game, rotate everyone's hand to the left.
Before an accusation resolves, call it. Right? Hand out drinks. Wrong? You drink.
Flash your cards. Every pair you collect afterwards is worth double.
Whenever you choose, everyone finishes what's left in their cup.
We'll email you when it launches and roughly never otherwise. No sharing, no spam.
Nowhere yet. The cards are done and play-tested; the box and the instruction booklet are being finished. Leave your email above and you'll hear the second it's ready.
Three to eight is the sweet spot. Two works, but at that point you're just lying to one person's face, which is more of a relationship than a game.
Fifteen to thirty minutes. Longer if someone keeps Doubling Down on everything, and someone always does.
No. Every penalty is "drink one" or "drink two" — swap it for sips of water, points, press-ups, or a forfeit of your choosing. The lying is the game. The drinking is a lifestyle choice.
Only when someone asks you for a card and you deny having it. That's it. As soon as they Double Down you have to show the truth. Everything else at the table is, technically, honest.
Eight secret cards dealt one per player at the start. Each gives you a one-off power, a different penalty, or a different way to win. Keep yours secret until you use it. Peeping Tom, The Pisshead, Minesweeper, Bad Influence, Shit Stirrer, The Hustler, The Flasher and Party Starter are all in the box.
Yes. There's a whole category about genitals and another about poo, plus drinking rules. Don't buy it for your nan. Or do, but we warned you.
Grosser. The cards you can see on this page are some of the tamer ones. Warning: may induce gagging.
Brilliant. The worse the better. Send it through the email box above with "card idea" in it and we'll read it, wince, and possibly print it.
